Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor from the United States. Her name has been praised by the media and for her television performance since the 1980s. Her accolades are two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett originates from New York New York. She was born in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Her mother split with her father at approximately five. Her younger sister later went from the city of St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was in high school and was a fan of John Steinbeck's production Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she made the decision to pursue acting. When she graduated at Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned the Bachelor's degree of African American Studies, she was able to obtain a Master's Degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. She was introduced to Courtney B. Vance, a fellow actress at Yale and they got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama conferred a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in 1980. She was a student at the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the major parts in the action film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
